i knew it was all going to work out when i got in cait's car after voting, and realized my voting location was on HOPE AVENUE.
you'd think i'd know better, but i feel like an optimist again.
(the truth is no one knows better.)

honestly, November 4th, 2008 was the day to remember! (Although I voted 3 weeks prior via absentee ballot, so I kind of lost out on that feeling...)

when they first projected his win,
I nearly cried
and now every time I think of that night, I still beam.
